Justin Clark

PRO RODEO BULLFIGHTER

Biography

I was born in the small ranching community of Collbran Colorado. I was raised ranching cattle with my dad and in doing so, developed a sense of "savvy" for livestock.

In high school I participated and lettered in football, basketball and track. After several endeavors I decided on a career in law enforcement in 1997. Since that time I have been employed with the Eagle County Sheriff's Office as a patrol deputy.

In 1998 I tried my hand at bullfighting and became "hooked". After attending a couple of bullfighting schools instructed by Rob Smets & Lance Brittan, I joined the Colorado Professional Rodeo Association (CPRA) and participated in many freestyle bullfighting events.  Jerry Berentis of Berentis Rodeo gave me my first break at my hometown rodeo in Collbran.

After just missing to qualify for the CPRA finals in 1999 I regrouped for 2000.  With the support of my wife and determination to serve the Lord and just have fun, I became the CPRA Year-End and Finals Freestyle Bullfighting Champion.

In 2001 I was chosen to work the CPRA Finals and succeeded in obtaining my Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) card.

I try to serve my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in all things.

Currently I live in Molina Colorado with my wife Tammy, our two dogs, cat and three horses.

Bullfighting is a passion of mine and I am truely blessed to be able to do it.  I enjoy everything that rodeo offers including the trials and tribulations of which there is no shortage to be sure of.  I cherish the memories and friendships obtained and look forward to what lies ahead.

I want to thank the following comittees:

Redding Rodeo Association
St. George Lions Dixie Roundup
Mission Mountain PRCA Rodeo
Plateau Valley Heritage Days
Thief River Falls Thunder On Hooves and
Beaver Creek Rodeo Series.

Thanks for your kind hearts, professionalism, and frienship!

God Bless,
Justin
